Little Thing is a bottle shop and wine bar at 3003 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, WA. We operate this website (littlething.wine), our wine club subscription, and our mobile app (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you use any of the Services or otherwise communicate with us. • Contact details including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
• Financial information including credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmation. Payment data is processed by Shopify and Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
• Account information including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
• Transaction information including the items you view, put in your cart, or purchase, and your past transactions.
• App account information. If you sign in to the app using Sign in with Apple, we receive a name and email address (or Apple’s anonymized relay email address, if you select that option) from Apple. We store your account details and any likes or comments you leave on wines.
• User-generated content. Comments you post in the app are public by default and visible to other users. Please do not include personal information in comments that you would prefer to keep private.
• Communications with us including the information you include when sending a customer support inquiry or otherwise contacting us.
• Device information including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
• Usage information including information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

• Directly from you, including when you create an account, visit or use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.
• Automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our website, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies.

Provide, tailor, and improve the Services
We use your personal information to provide you with the Services, including to process your payments, fulfill your wine club orders, remember your preferences, send notifications related to your account, create and maintain your account, enable you to post likes and comments in the app, and create a personalized experience for you. This may include using your personal information to better tailor and improve the Services.
Marketing and advertising
We may use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail, and to show you online advertisements for products or services, including based on items you have previously purchased or other activity on the Services. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising platforms, but we reserve the right to do so in the future, in which case we will update this policy and such platforms will be subject to their own privacy practices.

We use your personal information to authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, detect and investigate possible fraudulent or illegal activity, protect public safety, and secure our Services.

Age and Alcohol
You must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol through the Services. We do not collect date of birth online. Age is verified in person at the time of pickup at our store. Our Services are not directed at anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are the parent or guardian of a minor who has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@littlething.wine to request that it be deleted.
As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Our website uses cookies for basic functionality, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in. We may use cookies and similar technologies in the future for analytics and advertising purposes.
