Happy one year of wine club! Last August, we had our first pickup party, and this August, we are fully open at our brick and mortar on Beacon Hill. What a whirlwind! I can’t say it enough: thank you, thank you, thank you for your support. We hope you love this little shop and club as much as we do.

It's easy to wax poetic this time of year. August is a top-tier month in Seattle. It’s sunny, the lake is bathwater warm, and the sunsets still stretch on well past many bedtimes. Tomatoes are in season, stone fruit is perfectly ripe, and the city’s shockingly mighty soft serve scene reigns supreme. But what to drink? Sparkling, of course, but lively, high-value sparkling you can bring to the beach in a cooler and sip on a sandy patch next to the sound; white wines that taste like eternal summer, sourced from places like the south of France and Italy; pristine, ethereal skin contact wine and rosé from the Willamette; a chillable, high-toned red and an Italian, table wine to go with all those tomatoes. August is about finding luxury in the simple, everyday things like evening walks and dinner on the back porch. This month’s wine club is here to help.
